How We Help
MCCAA Head Start Program Provides comprehensive services to children 3 to 5 years of age. Proven curriculum and highly trained staff focus on the child’s individual learning, socio-emotional, behavior, physical and nutrition needs. Head Start utilizes a whole family approach and provides supports to promote family wellbeing, setting the child up for success in school.

Reading is Fundamental.
Building lifelong learners.
Have you ever read a book and felt like you could see the story play out like a movie in your head?
During February it is no surprise to walk into any Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency’s (MCCAA’s) Head Start location and find that you have been transported straight onto the pages of their favorite childhood storybook.
